BancorpSouth has a footprint that stretches across the southeast, with locations in Florida, Texas and every state in between. So, it shouldn’t be surprising that when it comes to college football, BancorpSouth employees are just like their customers — they love it.

Sports sponsorships are a big part of the marketing efforts for BancorpSouth. The financial institution has relationships with a number of schools in the region, such as the University of Mississippi, Mississippi State University, Auburn University and the University of Alabama. Their partnership level varies with each school, from in-stadium video to radio sponsorships.

The Sullivan Branding creative team wanted to show BancorpSouth’s customers in each market that the financial institution understands what being a fan really means, using a combination of their sponsorship materials, promotional items and a series of print pieces in local publications. They understand the quirks, superstitions, traditions and over-the-top acts of team loyalty that are just as much a part of the game as the game itself. In essence, they get it.

It’s officially football season, people. Get excited.
